In recent years a number of construction and renovation projects around the Scouting Center have been carried out by dedicated volunteers. The current donation project is the renovation and extension of the kitchen house.
Of course, the financial side of projects large and small has to be considered as well. Therefore the Scouting Center receives support from companies, private individuals, and of course from the German Scouting Foundation.
Despite this great help we continue to depend on support. We are very happy about your donation.
You may donate using the following bank account:
Name of bank: Bank für Sozialwirtschaft
Of course we will gladly issue a donation certificate upon request. Many thanks for your support!
Currently, the Scouting Center is supported by various sponsors:
- German Scouting Foundation
- Friends of Immenhausen
- Town of Immenhausen
- Hofgeismar Lions Clubs
- Grebenstein municipal savings bank
- Volksbank Kassel-Göttingen
...and many other donors.
In the center's annual calendar there are some fixed meetings of scouts of all ages, who work, saw, hammer, and paint anew at their BdP center with a lot of commitment and energy every year: There are annual work camps, wood and planting weekends, and the annual meeting of the Friends of Immenhausen, where they really get to spit in their hands. We are also happy to host external volunteer projects such as the Kassel Volunteer Day.
The Friends of Immenhausen were founded in 1989. They are not an association with a board of directors or statutes; rather, anyone who makes an annual donation and/or provides volunteer work for the Scouting Center may join. Scouts from all over Germany meet annually on the last weekend of September in Immenhausen to get active together. During that meeting they work on houses and premises. The focus is on projects that would otherwise quickly fall by the wayside during the everyday routine. In addition, the latest acquisitions are inspected, but the weekend is also enriched by cultural explorations. Since the foundation, 142,000 € have already been raised, with which, for example, playground equipment, seminar equipment, plants, furnishings for the group homes, and technical devices have been procured, and subsidies for the new washhouse and hall renovation have been financed. New faces are always welcome at the Friends of Immenhausen.
