Luggage Transport/Shuttle Service from the Train Station
The way from the Immenhausen train station to the Scouting Center follows the sign of the Fairytale Country Trail, because that also leads here. For a fee, we offer you a luggage transport from the train station to the Scouting Center so that you can walk more comfortably to your destination. In exceptional cases and for a fee, we can also offer a shuttle service from the train station with an eight-seater van.
Parking Lot
There is only a limited number of parking spaces on the premises. We ask that you arrive by public transport and in carpools. For large events there are several parking spaces available outside the premises for a fee. Due to the number of cars, the harvest situation of the farmers, and the requirements of the lower nature conservation authority, these spaces have to be reserved by the center. Parking of campers, busses, and caravans is not allowed on the center's meadows.
Charging station for electric cars
Since the end of 2022, there has been a charging station with two connections for electric cars in the car park, which can be used by guests, visitors and walkers. The charging station is activated by employees of Zentrum Pfadfinden, who can be found in the main building during office hours. You will then receive the charging chip on presentation of your identity card. The costs are 0.65 € / kWh and will be charged after the charging process. The power consumption is 22kW and is dynamically distributed over two connections. The installation was supported by the state of Hesse as part of the programme "Promotion of electric mobility in Hesse - development of charging infrastructure at companies and in public spaces".
Laundry
A washing machine and dryer are available in the Immenhausen Scouting Center by arrangement and for a fee.
